France and Switzerland

The first pics here are from Paris, France. I went there to visit my buddy Emanuel Hart and his wife. You will see a pic of Emanuel in the atrium after the pics of the rose garden. Of course you will see the pics of the Eiffel Tower - I couldn't miss that. You will notice some nice shots of the city from up there, as well as the mechanical device used to move the elevators up and down. It is quite an undertaking. You will also notice pictures of the Louvre, the church of Notredam, and the Basilica Sacré-Cœur church. The Louvre is incredible - it is impossible to see everything in one day, so make sure to leave yourself two. I made the mistake of not leaving enough time.

After Paris, I went to Zurich, Switzerland to visit another friend Brian Glesser. Zurich was a very interesting town. In Switzerland, all the products are in three languages: German, Italian, and French. This is to represent the three different parts and peoples living there. There are a lot of nice places to go, but the don't expect the people to be too friendly. Most of them are affluent (you have to be to live in Switzerland), and don't want to be bothered. After Zurich, I went to a place called Luzern, which is in the foothills of the Alps. Luzern has some amazing architecture which you can see in the pics. From there I took a boat down the beautiful river to a drop off point. You then take a train straight up the side of the mountain. It takes about 45 mins to get to the top. Then you walk the rest of the way to the vista point. You can see some pics of me with the Alps off in the distance in a few pics.
